Why I Started Keto – My Personal Story
I was raised in Iran, a land of incredibly rich culinary traditions. The food I grew up with wasn’t just delicious — it was unforgettable. Persian cuisine is packed with layers of flavor, from saffron and rosewater to cardamom, cinnamon, and delicate floral essences that make even the fullest stomach feel hungry again.
Sweets and pastries were a big part of my life. Cakes, traditional desserts, rice puddings, and all kinds of aromatic treats made every meal feel like a celebration. Food wasn’t just fuel — it was joy, comfort, and connection with family and friends.
But despite all the beauty in what I ate, by the time I was 17 or 18, I started to face serious health challenges. My cholesterol and triglycerides were high. Over the next few years, my blood sugar slowly crept up too. It wasn’t dangerously high yet, but it was heading in the wrong direction.
I tried everything.
Different diets.
Various medications.
Lots of advice from different sources.
But nothing truly worked. The numbers didn’t move.
I didn’t feel better. I felt stuck.
Until I found the ketogenic lifestyle.
Keto changed everything.
I no longer needed medication. My blood sugar stabilized. I finally felt like myself again — energized, clear-headed, and free. Keto gave me back control over my health.
But it also gave me something deeper:
It taught me to care about my body — to study, to learn, to take responsibility, and to respect what I eat.
That’s why I created this blog.
To share what I’ve learned.
To help others who feel like I once did.
And to prove that healthy, low-carb food can still be beautiful, rich, and deeply satisfying — just like the flavors I was raised with.
And that’s what inspired me to turn my experience into a business — to share it with others who might also be searching for a better lifestyle, and to help people take one step closer to feeling healthier.
Wishing health and wellness for the world and everyone in it.
